The IAAS has made a deal with YBP Library Services to distribute 2Leaf Press print books to academic libraries in the US and abroad.
Founded in 1971 as Yankee Book Peddler, for more than 40 years, YBP’s guiding and unwavering principles have been to build close relationships with academic libraries and consortia while providing the best solution for their acquisition, collection development and technical service needs. They’ve grown from a small, one room business in to a global company of more than 300 employees, providing print and digital content to libraries in more than 60 countries. YBP specializes in delivering shelf-ready books in both print and electronic forms to the academic library market, with more than 12 million titles in its Global Online Bibliographic Information (GOBI).
YBP, which merged with Baker & Taylor in 1999, was recently acquired by EBSCO Information Services. EBSCO offers library resources to customers in academic, medical, K–12, public library, law, corporate, and government markets. EBSCO hopes to expand YBP’s footprint in the international market. In fact, EBSCO has picked up 2Leaf Press’ digital content and will be available to libraries August 1st.
Great news from a small press with big ideas! We encourage professors and students to request copies of 2Leaf Press titles for inclusion in your academic library.
