Shiane Wilcoxen

SHIANE WILCOXEN, a native of Chicago currently residing in St. Louis, is a private chef and event planner, poet and writer. A graduate of the Robert Morris University-School of Culinary Arts in Chicago in 2006, she began teaching cake decorating and basic culinary skills to at-risk youth at park districts and youth centers throughout “Chicagoland.” In 2010, Wilcoxen founded Team 101 Chicago, an LGBTQ youth based organization. She will release her first book of poetry and short stories, and her novel, Kissing Skies, in 2017.
