Santana Dempsey
SANTANA DEMPSEY, adopted along with her biological sister at the age of six, is a professional actress and transracial adoption advocate. She graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri, Columbia with a BA in theatre, and is best known for her one-woman show The Other Box, which was a finalist for the Hispanic Playwrights Residency Lab at INTAR Theatre in New York City. Since then, she has performed in that play in New York City and Los Angeles. Her first literary work, “Thanks Mom and Dad,” published in Woman Speak Magazine. Dempsey currently resides in Los Angeles, California and is writing her first book—a young adult novel.
