Rebel Sowell

REBEL SOWELL earned her MFA in creative writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She has published short stories and poetry in literary magazines like The Tableau, The Sandstorm, and Chaos West of the Pecos. Her short story “Lonely People” in the Riding Light Review was nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She is the author of two novels, The Magician’s Hook, and Daughter of the Bride. Sowell is currently writing another historical fiction novel. Raised in West Texas, she now resides in Norman, Oklahoma and is an adjunct professor of English at Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
