PERRY BRASS, born in Savannah, Georgia, has published nineteen books of poetry, novels, short fiction, science fiction, plays, and bestselling advice books, like The Manly Pursuit of Desire and Love (2015). He is a six-time finalist for the Lambda Literary Awards, has won four IPPY Awards from the Independent Publishers Group (IPG), and was a finalist for a prestigious Ferro-Grumley Fiction Award from the Ferro-Grumley Foundation for his novel, King of Angels (2012). An activist in the LGBTQ movement since 1969, he is one of the co-founders of the Gay Men’s Health Project Clinic, the first clinic specifically for gay men on the East Coast.
