KRISTINA QUYNN was raised in an interracial family in Colorado. After earning a PhD at Michigan State University, she returned to Colorado to teach contemporary literature and argumentative writing at Colorado State University, Fort Collins. She holds a split position between the Graduate School and the Department of English, and is the founding Director of CSU Writes, a campus-wide program that supports faculty, graduate student, postdoc writers who write for publication, proposal submission, and/or degree completion. Quynn's research focuses on topics of gender, self-representation, and experimentation with form in modern and contemporary literature and criticism. Her work has appeared in The Journal of the Midwest Modern Language Association, Drama and Dismemberment / Dismemberment of Drama, and The Encyclopedia of Sex and Gender. She is co-editor of Critical Innovations: Reading and Writing Experimental Texts (2017), a collection of experimental, enacted literary criticism. https://www.kristinaquynn.com.
