Julie Parson Nesbitt

JULIE PARSON NESBITT received an MFA in creative writing at University of Pittsburgh, and is currently working towards an MA in social and cultural foundations of education at DePaul University. She is the author of the poetry collection, Finders (1996), and co-editor of Power Lines: A Decade of Poetry from Chicago’s Guild Complex (1999). A recipient of the Gwendolyn Brooks Significant Illinois Poet Award, Nesbitt is a contributing editor to West End Press. She lives and works in Chicago.
