DIANA EMIKO TSUCHIDA was born and raised in San Jose, California. She has written on the perceptions and representations of mixed-race Asian American women and conducted interviews with some of the most influential Asian American women in the culinary world. Her work has appeared in the Village Voice, Those People, and the Center for Asian American Media. Tsuchida is the creator of “Tessaku,” a historical project that collects interviews with Japanese Americans who experienced the internment camps. She received her MA in Ethnic Studies from San Francisco State University, and is currently a freelance digital media consultant and copywriter.
