Carol Weliky

CAROL WELIKY grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended Brooklyn College. She later received a BA in English from Portland State University. She has written songs, poetry and short fiction, and has collaborated on several projects with other writers and artists. A line of her poetry, stamped in concrete, can be found along Portland’s newest light rail line. Weliky retired from public service in 2014, and is currently at work on a novel.
