Carlos Adams

CARLOS ADAMS began his college career at the age of thirty six. He attended Whatcom Community College where he was the recipient of the Laidlaw Award for Outstanding Graduate. He transferred to Fairhaven College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Western Washington University, and majored in American Cultural Studies. Adams received the Outstanding Graduate Award from the American Cultural Studies Program, and was selected to speak at his graduation ceremony. He went on to receive his graduate degrees at Washington State University majoring in American Studies. After graduation, he taught at several colleges and universities, and currently teaches American Minority and Ethnic Studies as an adjunct instructor at Pierce and Green River Colleges in Washington State.
