Carletta Joy Walker

CARLETTA JOY WALKER is a writer, poet, artist, and storyteller. She is a journalist and producer, and has produced, hosted, emceed arts and public affairs programs including Joy Journal, a weekly program for writers and readers. She co-wrote the libretto for Smart and Tart Juicing, selected to be part of an international on-line opera project. Walker currently co-edits And Then, and has published in White Rabbit. She is co-chair of Be Present Inc., also presents in BPI Theater on the Issue conference cultural programs, and is a storyteller at the Sugar Hill Children’s Museum for Art and Storytelling. She works in the Boricua College library in New York City.
