BARBARA KELLAM-SCOTT has been a published writer for almost thirty-five years, building a career writing features for local newspapers, trade magazines and regional papers, and corporate ghostwriting in telecommunications. She earned a BA in intercultural studies at Ramapo College of New Jersey, completed graduate work in sociology at Princeton University, received a certificate in Christian theology from Newark School of Theology, and studied Hebrew at Princeton Theological Seminary. Her work on the Bellcore EXCHANGE was repeatedly recognized by her peers in the Society for Technical Communications. She is an advocate for social justice issues on local, regional, and national levels as an Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA), and writes feminist biblical interpretations and other topics in a lay ministry as Writer-in-Residence of the Presbytery of the Palisades.
