Alexander Jones

ALEXANDER JONES has been published several works of short fiction and poetry. His short stories has published widely, notably in FarCryZine, Bastion Magazine, DenimSkin, Carrot Bean Magazine, Bab-bling of the Irrational, Hopper Review, Squawk Back, and Crack the Spine. His fiction, “Driving Out in the Woods One Night” was featured in Akashic Book’s Wilderness Wednesday series. He won the 2012 Go-Rail Freight Railroad Essay Contest, and one of his short stories received an honorable mention in Writer’s Digest 2015 Annual Short Story Contest. Jones has a BA in English with a creative writing concentration from SUNY New Paltz, an AAS in plumbing and heating technology from NEIT, and a welding certificate from Apex Technical School. He is both a metal fabricator and freelance writer, and lives in Jersey City.
