Abe Lateiner

ABE LATEINER taught low-income children in public schools for ten years, when burnout offered him the opportunity to look in the mirror and begin to understand whiteness. He now works as a racial justice activist, educator, and organizer of white people in support of black lives. He also organizes young progressive people with wealth via Resource Generation and other donor networks. Lateiner is a co-founder of the Port Cafe, a pay-what-you-can pop-up community cafe in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  www.risksomething.org.
