2Leaf Press is pleased to announce its distribution deal with ODILO, a startup aiming to modernize brick-and-mortar libraries with digital lending services and inventory tech. Based in Spain and the U.S., ODILO says its new funds will be used to “accelerate expansion” in Latin America and the U.S. This three-year-old company has more than 5 million users to access digital content offered by their libraries, schools, universities, professional associations, corporations and municipalities.
ODILO is working with a formidable yet eclectic group of publishers, such as ABDO, Atlantic Publishing, Book View Café, Diversion Books, Encyclopedia Britannica, Enslow Publishers, HarperCollins Publishers, Little Pickle Press, Macmillan, Open Road Media, Prologue, Simon & Schuster, Rowman & Littlefield, Untreed Reads Publishing, Xist Publishing, and many others. 2Leaf Press is pleased to be in such good company.
Besides promoting 2Leaf Press’s English titles, there will be an extra push for its bilingual ebooks, HEY YO! YO SOY!, BIRDS ON THE KISWAR TREE, and INCESSANT BEAUTY. “It’s important to hook up with some of the newer players in the ebook industry that are showing great promise,” says Gabrielle David, Publisher of 2Leaf Press. “Since we have bilingual titles (Spanish/English), we’re very interested in cracking the Latin American market, making ODILO a promising distribution partner as we continue to expand our market.”
ODILO was founded in 2011 with the objective of specializing in the eBooks and content sector. ODILO is exponentially growing every year, serving thousands of organizations in the public and private sector across US, Europe and Latin America. ODILO’s services are present in 47 countries. They are dedicated to providing an open ecosystem where libraries can buy books from the marketplace, along with publishers and digital content providers of their choice (with no technical restrictions).
