SEAN FREDERICK FORBES PHOTO2Leaf Press is proud to announce its new series, 2LP EXPLORATIONS IN DIVERSITY.

2LP EXPLORATIONS IN DIVERSITY is a series that examines the past, present and future of diversity and inclusivity in America. The series will be managed and edited by Dr. Sean Frederick Forbes.

Forbes is a professor, scholar and published poet. He published his first book of poetry, Providencia: A Book of Poems, with 2Leaf Press in 2013. He became a member of 2Leaf Press’ board in 2014 and was primary in the reorganization of 2Leaf Press’ mission statement. Forbes was co-editor of WHAT DOES IT MEANS TO BE WHITE IN AMERICA? and was instrumental in the development of 2LP EXPLORATIONS IN DIVERSITY.

Forbes teaches creative writing and poetry, and is the director of the creative writing program at the University of Connecticut, and is the poetry and nonfiction reader for the journal WESTVIEW published by Southwestern Oklahoma State University.

GABRIELLE DAVID is a multidisciplinary artist who is a musician, photographer, digital designer, editor, poet and writer. She is the Executive Director of the nonprofit organization, 2Leaf Press Inc. and publisher of the Black/Brown female-led 2Leaf Press in New York.
